Hanging with the Missionaries here in Georgia
Elder Hastings and Elder Boman didn't want Austin to go out to San Antonio as "greenie", so they have been showing him the ropes. That means a district meeting, teaching discussions, tie shopping and of course eating several times a week at Taco Bell. Good thing, Austin reports to the MTC in 6 days!
Update: Austin's Bud's Elder Hartman and Elder Kotter, didn't get their Visa's in time and reported to the Provo MTC. All three will be together when Austin reports this WEd.

Gino (middle) has been called to Brazil he leaves in two days May 29
Stephen (left) has been called to Peru, he leaves June 5
and Austin, who leaves June 12th.
How cool that they all may end up in the MTC together.
Gino and Stephen were originally called to report to MTC's outside of the USA, but you know how Visa's can cause a disruption in plans sometimes.
Our little ward in the South, will have 8 missionaries out!

Lakeview Academy Class of 2013 Graduation was held May 18th, 2013 at
First Baptist Church of Gainesville, Ga.
Now that is over and done with, we can concentrate on getting ready for this mission.
That means finding a mountain bike with a big enough frame for someone as large as he is.
He departs in 22 days.

Out of Left Field?? Who is This Georgia Kid Austin, Who Just Signed with the Utah Utes??
"Lakeview Academy standout Austin Montgomery has been selected to play in the second annual North Georgia All-Star Classic on March 16th at Gainesville High School.
Montgomery averaged 20.8 points and 9 rebounds per game this season as the Lakeview boys finished with an 18-8 record and a state tournament appearance. Montgomery had 541 points and 235 rebounds in 26 games and also drew 18 charges, had 47 steals, 29 assists and 47 deflections. Montgomery shot shot 72 percent from the free throw line and 59 percent from the floor.
The 2012 an 2013 Region 8-A first team selection finished his prep career with 1,326, third most in school history, and averaged 12.5 points per game in 106 games. He also had 772 career rebounds and averaged 7.2 rebounds per game.
He was an also a:

Georgia Coaches Association Top Ten player Single A in Georgia 2013,
Georgia Sports Writers All State 2013

FYI.. Austin was a standout baseball pitcher and first basemen, until he decided to pursue basketball full time his Jr. year.
